Tallahassee State Baseball falls short against College of Central Florida, 12-6.

Tallahassee, FL – February 11, 2025 -  Despite a strong comeback effort, the Tallahassee State College baseball team fell to the College of Central Florida 12-6. After battling back in the later innings, the Eagles were unable to secure the win.

The game saw solid offensive performances, with Keuri Martinez going 3-for-5, and Hunter Rebhan driving in 5 RBIs from his spot in the lineup. Cade Culbreth also contributed with a hit and an RBI, while William McDonald added another double for the Eagles.

Hunter Rebhan led the charge with his 2 hits and 5 RBIs, showing resilience in the face of a challenging game. Other notable hitters included Boone Hosey, who added 2 hits and reached base three times, and Cade Culbreth, who provided one RBI.

On the mound, Justin Morales gave the Eagles a solid start, pitching 5.0 innings with just one earned run. However, the bullpen struggled as J.D. Hay and Baden Wallace allowed key runs in their appearances. Emery Dawkins was charged with the loss after giving up 2 runs in the final inning.

Despite the loss, Tallahassee's players demonstrated grit and determination, particularly at the plate.
