ROME, Ga. (November 14, 2015) – NJCAA Region 8 No. 4 Tallahassee Community College dropped its second straight game on Saturday, falling to Georgia Highlands College, 73-65, at the GHC Classic in women's basketball action.
The Eagles fell to 3-2 and will now prepare for a trip to Santa Fe College on Tuesday.
The game was nip-and-tuck through the first quarter, which ended with Georgia Highlands in front, 18-16. The host Chargers extended their lead to 37-31 at the intermission and still held a 56-51 advantage after the third.
Eboni Watts paced Tallahassee with 24 points. Lindsay John added 10.
