Bio

Emmanuel Miles is beginning his Second season at Tallahassee State College as the men’s basketball assistant coach.

This season, Miles serves as lead assistant for the Eagles, where he played a key role in assembling a strong recruiting class that includes three Division I transfers: Elijah Guillory, Cinque Lemon, and Kahlil Stillman. He also contributed to securing three-star high school recruit Shane Cherry and four-star high school recruit Cedric Taylor.

In his first season, Miles served as second assistant and focused primarily on guard development.

Miles was most recently at the University of North Carolina Greensboro as a graduate assistant for men’s basketball. Before becoming a Graduate assistant, Miles was a student manager for UNC Greensboro, serving under Coach Wes Miller and Coach Mike Jones. Miles was a part of the staff that lead the basketball team to a SoCon Regular season and Tournament Conference Championship. During his time as a graduate assistant, Miles worked primarily with the guards and their player development. He also assisted in team scouting and on-court coaching.

Miles played basketball at Columbia International University in Columbia South Carolina. At Columbia International, he played under Coach Marshall Tague. As a freshman, Miles played in every game that season. In his sophomore year, Miles started every game and was named to the Conferences All-Defensive team.

Miles attended Western Alamance High School in Elon, North Carolina. He played Basketball, Football, and Ran Track. In basketball, was awarded All-Conference in his Junior and Senior Seasons. In Football was awarded All-Conference in his Senior Season. For Track, Miles was apart of the 4 x 100 relay team that competed at the North Carolina State Championships.

Emmanuel Miles earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from UNC Greensboro. Miles earned his Master in Peace and Conflict studies from UNC Greensboro.
