Mallory Collier Named FCSAA Region 8 Player of the Week

 

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -  February 25, 2025 – Mallory Collier, standout player for the TSC Eagles Softball team, has been named the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) Region 8 Player of the Week for her outstanding performance on the field.

In the past week, Collier has been nothing short of remarkable, hitting an impressive .705 with 5 home runs, 14 RBIs, and 7 runs scored. Her stellar performance helped propel the Eagles to a 4-1 finish at the NCEF Leadoff Classic held in Columbus Georgia this past weekend. 

Collier's exceptional play didn't go unnoticed, as she was also named to the NCEF Leadoff Classic All-Tournament Team. This accolade highlights her ability to perform under pressure and contributes to the strong foundation she has built this season.

In the NCEF Leadoff Classic, Collier hit a home run in three of the Eagles five games. In two of the games, she hit two home runs each game. Colliers stellar effort propelled the Eagles to four wins, with two of the wins being in one or two run, tighltly contested games. 

On the season, Collier is hitting .416 with 6 home runs and 34 RBIs, proving to be a key contributor to the Eagles' offensive success. Her ability to consistently deliver at the plate has made her one of the top players in the region.

The TSC Eagles will look to build on Collier's momentum when they take on South Georgia State College tomorrow in Douglas, GA.
