Tallahassee State College to Host 23rd Annual Florida College Men's Basketball Shootout

TALLAHASSEE, FL - December 4, 2025 – Tallahassee State College and the Bill Hebrock Eagle Dome will host the 23rd annual Florida College Men's Basketball Shootout, December 5-7, featuring 14 teams from across NJCAA Region 8.

The tournament showcases some of the best junior college basketball talent in Florida, including five nationally-ranked Division I programs. Leading the field is #5 Northwest Florida State College (10-1), followed by #6 Daytona State College (7-2), #7 Gulf Coast State College (10-1), #13 Chipola College (9-2), and host #20 Tallahassee State College (10-1).

The shootout has become a highlight of Florida's junior college basketball season, bringing together top teams from across the region to compete in high-level NJCAA Division I competition.

Friday, December 6

• 5:00 PM – #20 Tallahassee vs. Hillsborough
• 7:00 PM – #13 Chipola vs. #6 Daytona State

Saturday, December 7

• 12:00 PM – #7 Gulf Coast State vs. Miami-Dade
• 2:00 PM – Pensacola State vs. Florida Southwestern
• 4:00 PM – #5 Northwest Florida State vs. Eastern Florida State
• 6:00 PM – Polk State vs. #13 Chipola

Sunday, December 8

• 12:00 PM – St. Petersburg College vs. #7 Gulf Coast State
• 2:00 PM – Indian River State vs. #20 Tallahassee State
• 4:00 PM – Polk State vs. #5 Northwest Florida State
• 6:00 PM – Santa Fe College vs. Pensacola State
