Brynn Baca Steps Down as Tallahassee State College Head Softball Coach

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – July 7, 2026 -  Tallahassee State College today announced that head softball coach Brynn Baca has resigned from her position, effective immediately.

Baca led the Eagles for three seasons. During her time as head coach, she coached six All-Panhandle Conference honorees, and 30 student-athletes received NJCAA All-Academic honors. Her teams were recognized as NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year, which signifies a team GPA above a 3.0.

"I want to thank Brynn for her hard work and commitment to our student-athletes during her time here at TSC," Director of Athletics Brett Rutherford said. "We wish her all the best moving forward."

The search for the Eagles' next head softball coach will begin immediately.
