Former Eagle Andrew Duncan Selected in 19th Round of 2026 MLB Draft

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – July 13, 2026 - Former Tallahassee State College outfielder Andrew Duncan has been selected by the Pittsburg Pirates in the 19th round (No. 558 overall) of the 2026 MLB Draft following an outstanding season at Wright State University.

Duncan spent the 2024-25 season with the Eagles after transferring from Florida State. During his lone season at TSC, he hit .379 with three home runs, 20 RBIs, five doubles, and 10 stolen bases while serving as one of the top defensive outfielders in the Panhandle Conference.

His stellar season earned him First Team All-Panhandle Conference honors, and he was named the Panhandle Conference Defensive Player of the Year for his play in center field.

Following his season at TSC, Duncan transferred to Wright State, where he continued his success by earning First Team All-Horizon League honors before being selected in the 2026 MLB Draft.
