TSC Eagles Soar to 11-5 Victory Over South Georgia State College, Morales Shines on the Mound

Tallahassee, FL - February 20, 2025 – The Tallahassee State College (TSC) Eagles secured an impressive 11-5 win against South Georgia State College on Saturday, thanks to a stellar performance from pitcher Justin Morales, who pitched a gem to lead his team to victory.

Morales (2-0) threw six solid innings, allowing only five hits and two earned runs while striking out nine batters. His dominant performance on the mound kept the South Georgia hitters off balance and stymied any significant rallies, allowing the Eagles' offense to take control.

The Eagles' offense was firing on all cylinders, with 14 hits in the game. Leading the charge was Keuri Martinez, who went 2-for-5, and William McDonald, who also finished with two hits, including an RBI. Hunter Rebhan contributed a solid 2-for-4 outing, driving in three runs, while Reid Harvey and Gabe Del Fuoco both added key RBI performances. Harvey's 3B and two walks helped set up his 3 RBIs, while Del Fuoco also had a solid 2-for-4 showing with an RBI.

The Eagles showed their depth and versatility at the plate, with multiple players contributing to the win. The team stole three bases, including one each from Martinez, McDonald, and Rebhan.

Relievers Christian Madeira, Ryan Meekins, Emery Dawkins, and Baden Wallace shut down South Georgia State over the final three innings, with Dawkins and Wallace both recording scoreless frames.

The Eagles are back in action on Saturday as they travel to rematch South Georgia State College in a double header.
