WAYCROSS, Ga. (November 15, 2014) – Tallahassee Community College's men's basketball team won its second game of the Applebee's Okefenokee Classic 87-72 over South Georgia State College to finish the classic 2-0 and remain undefeated on the season (6-0).

Eric Nottage enjoyed a career day, posting a triple-double, 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists - the second triple-double in school history. Bronski Dockery had 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals against Pensacola State College on January 13, 2001.

After a slow start, the Eagles found themselves trailing by ten points (25-15) midway through the first half.  But Tallahassee slowly chipped away at the lead and went to the locker room down a point. The second half belonged to the Eagles, as they outscored South Georgia State by 16 points.

A trio of players led the Eagles with Elmo Stephen and Dirk Williams joining Nottage in double figures.

Williams scored a career-high 31 points against the Hawks on 10-of-18 shooting while making seven shots from three-point range.  Stephen added 23 points on 50 percent shooting with five three-pointers.

The Eagles will return home for their next game on Tuesday, November 18 against Gordon (Ga.) State College in the teams' second meeting of the season. The last time these two teams met the Eagles pulled out an overtime victory on the road.

Tip-off for Tuesday's game is 8 p.m.
