Jeremiah Kendall named NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Week

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 23, 2021) - Tallahassee Community College's Jeremiah Kendall was named the NJCAA Region 8 Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday. 

Kendall, a sophomore forward from The Bronx, averaged 19.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.0 block in two games between February 15-21. 

He shot 57.9 percent (11-of-19) from the field and 80.0 percent (16-of-20) from the free throw line.

Kendall led the Eagles to a pair of victories, including Saturday's 107-67 victory over NJCAA No. 17 Gulf Coast State College, in which he posted 13 points and nine rebounds in just 23 minutes of action. 

On February 15, he scored 25 points and pulled down 16 rebounds in a come-from-behind victory over USC-Salkehatchie.
