Allen’s Game-Winner Lifts Eagles to 81–80 Thriller Over Santa Fe; TSC Moves to 5–0
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Nov. 12, 2025 — The Eagles men's basketball team stayed unbeaten in dramatic fashion Tuesday night, defeating Santa Fe College 81–80 after Rodmik Allen drilled a clutch step-back jumper with 10 seconds left to seal the win inside the Eagle Dome.
The Eagles lead by as many as 16, but the Saints fought back in the second half., but it was Allen who was calm under pressure that made the difference. The freshman guard finished with 22 points on an efficient 8-for-11 shooting, including the game-winner that sent the home crowd into celebration.
Despite being the shortest player on the court, Allen also showed his toughness on the glass by leading the Eagles with six rebounds. He added four assists and a steal in a complete all-around performance.
Santa Fe's Tre DuBois was nearly unstoppable throughout the contest, scoring 38 of the Saints' 80 points in one of the top individual performances of the season. DuBois kept the Saints in contention until the final seconds, hitting difficult shots from all over the floor.
For Tallahassee, Cole Crissman added 12 points, while Cedric Taylor and Trey Card provided key contributions off the bench with 15 and 13 points, respectively. The Eagles shot an impressive 56.4% from the field and 86.7% from the free-throw line, showing poise and efficiency in crunch time.
With the win, the Eagles improve to 5–0 on the season and continue their strong start to the 2025–26 campaign.
Tallahassee returns to action on Saturday, November 15, hosting St. Petersburg College at 1 p.m. in the Eagle Dome.
