No. 15 Eagles Improve to 15–1 With 105–97 Win Over Santa Fe

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - DECEMBER 16, 2025 - The No. 15 Eagles capped off the pre-Christmas portion of their schedule in emphatic fashion Tuesday night, defeating Santa Fe 105–97 to improve to 15–1 on the season. The win completed a season sweep of Santa Fe, as the Eagles went 2–0 against the Saints this year.

The Eagles delivered another complete offensive performance, fueled by three standout individual efforts.

Shane Cherry continued his torrid scoring pace, leading all players with 34 points while burying eight three-pointers. The outburst marked back-to-back 30-plus point games for Cherry and his third 30-point performance of the season, as he consistently stretched the defense from deep.

Cinque Lemon added a dominant inside presence, recording a career-high 22 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. The performance came just one game after Lemon hauled in 17 rebounds last weekend. Lemon scored 14 of his 22 points in the second half, helping the Eagles maintain control down the stretch.

Elijah Guillory continued his efficient offensive play, finishing with 25 points and six rebounds while shooting at an exceptional rate. Guillory contributed 12 points in the second half, providing timely scoring when Santa Fe attempted to close the gap.

The victory marked the final game for the No. 15 Eagles before departing for Christmas break. They will return to action on December 30, traveling to St. Petersburg to face the Titans.
