Men’s Basketball Opens New Year with 85–37 Win Over Enterprise State
TALLAHASSEE, FLA. - JANUARY 3, 2026 - The Eagle Men's basketball team opened the new year in dominant fashion, rolling past Enterprise State Community College 85–37 to earn its first victory of 2026 and improve to 17–1 on the season.
TSC set the tone early and never looked back, showcasing balanced scoring, defensive pressure, and strong rebounding in the convincing win. The performance comes at an ideal time as the squad prepares to enter conference play in the always-demanding Panhandle Conference.
A major highlight of the night was the return of Ja'Kwon Moore, who made his season debut after missing the early part of the year while recovering from knee surgery. Moore made an immediate impact, leading all scorers with 16 points while also pulling down eight rebounds off the bench. His energy and efficiency provided a significant boost as Tallahassee pulled away.
The offense was well-distributed, with Cole Crissman and Cedric Taylor each scoring 12 points, while Rodmik Allen and Shane Cherry added 11 points apiece. Tallahassee shot 47.2 percent from the field and out-rebounded Enterprise State 40–26, further emphasizing its control on both ends of the floor.
With momentum on our side, we now turn our focus to conference action.
The Men will open Panhandle Conference play Saturday, January 10, hosting Northwest Florida State at home. Tip-off is set for 4pm ET for the conference opener as Tallahassee looks to continue its strong start to the season.
