CLEARWATER, Fla. (January 30, 2021) – Tallahassee Community College's softball team picked up a second straight split on day two action at the Adidas JUCO Kickoff Classic & Showcase.
In Saturday's first game, Tallahassee took on the nation's number one team, Florida SouthWestern State College and came up on the short end of an 8-1 decision.
The Bucs, who were playing their season opener, outhit the Eagles, 13-4, in the win.
Tallahassee's bats woke up in a big way in its final game of the weekend, a 17-9 win over USC-Union.
The Eagles (2-2) will return to action on Friday when it travels to Thomasville, Ga., for a doubleheader against the Thomas University JV. Game one begins at 11 a.m.
