Davis named NFCA All-Region

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (June 1, 2021) – Tallahassee Community College's Jania Davis has been named First-team NFCA All-South Region.

It's the latest in a string of postseason accolades for Davis, a native of Atlanta, Ga.

In April, she was voted Panhandle Conference Player of the Year by the league's coaches. In May, she earned First-team FCSAA All-State honors. 

The sophomore centerfielder appeared in 38 games this season for the Eagles. 

Her .477 batting average led the Panhandle Conference, and she was even better in conference play, batting .493 over 20 games.  

Davis also swiped a team-high 31 stolen bases in 32 attempts and finished the season with 31 runs scored, three doubles, five triples and 14 RBI.
