MELBOURNE, Fla. (January 23, 2021) – Tallahassee Community College's women's basketball team took one on the chin on Saturday, falling to Indian River State College, 73-48, in a game played at Eastern Florida State College.
Tallahassee is 0-1 on the season while Indian River State picked up its second win (2-0).
A slow start left Tallahassee facing a 17-8 deficit after one quarter. Indian River State used a 27-14 advantage in the second quarter to lead 44-22 at the intermission.
The Pioneers led 64-41 after three.
Tallahassee will return to action on Wednesday when it hits the road for a game at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Tip-off is at 5:30 p.m.
