Eagle women fall to No. 2 NWF State

NICEVILLE, Fla. (February 11, 2021) – Tallahassee Community College's women's basketball team fell to NJCAA No. 2/Region 8 No. 1 Northwest Florida State College, 88-26, on Wednesday evening in Panhandle Conference play. 

The Eagles are now 1-4 on the season (0-3 PC). 

After falling behind 17-2, Tallahassee settled down and cut the Raiders' lead back to 10, 21-11, after the first quarter. 

Northwest Florida State increased its lead to 38-17 at the half before delivering a 30-5 advantage in the third quarter for a 68-22 lead. 

Ana Nikulochkina led the Eagles with eight points. Briana Chambers scored seven and pulled down five rebounds. Tariah Bryant came off the bench to score sevent. 

Tallahassee will wrap up round one of league play on Saturday when it hosts Pensacola State College at 3 p.m.
