PANAMA CITY, Fla. (March 6, 2021) – Gulf Coast State College's women's basketball team hit 14 three-pointers en route to a 90-63 win over Tallahassee Community College on Saturday afternoon.

After shooting just 28.4 percent from the floor in Wednesday's loss to Chipola College, the Commodores could seemingly do no wrong on Saturday. They shot 53.3 percent overall and 53.8 (14-of-26) from long distance.

Cabria Lewis had the hot hand in the first half, knocking down 6-of-9 shots overall and was a perfect 5-of-5 from three to stake Gulf Coast State to a 39-20 lead at the intermission.

Tallahassee trailed by as many as 32 and faced a 68-41 deficit through three. Nevertheless, the Eagles came out fighting in the fourth.

They opened with a 10-2 run and hit five three-pointers during a 21-10 start to the quarter to pull within 16 with four minutes to play.

Polina Nikulochkina scored 18 points to lead Tallahassee. Ana Nikulochkina had 17 and Olivia Eller, 10.

Tallahassee (2-9, 1-8 PC) will host Chipola College at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
