Tallahassee State College Women's Basketball Falls to Northwest Florida State College in Conference Opener

Tallahassee, FL - January 11, 2025 – The Tallahassee State College women's basketball team faced a tough defeat in their conference opener against Northwest Florida State College, losing 76-32 on Saturday.

Despite a strong effort from the team, Tallahassee State struggled to find their rhythm on the court.  Leading the way for Tallahassee State was Zhaniah Ervin, who scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Cienna Thigpen also contributed 8 points, while Santianna Davy added 3 points and 5 rebounds.

Northwest Florida State College took control early in the game and maintained their lead throughout, showcasing a strong defensive performance that limited Tallahassee State's scoring opportunities.

Tallahassee State will look to bounce back in their next game against Pensacola on Wednesday as they continue their conference schedule. The team remains focused on their goals and is determined to make a strong showing in the upcoming games
