TALLAHASSEE, FLA. - March 3 2025 - The Tallahassee State College (TSC) Eagles Women's Basketball team wrapped up their 2024-2025 season with a 62-49 loss to Chipola College. Despite the setback, the Eagles fought hard and showcased their resilience in the face of tough competition.
In a game that marked the end of the season, the Eagles were led by freshman Zhaniah Ervin, who finished with 15 points, providing a strong offensive presence. Fellow freshman Ashara Spruill also made a notable contribution, tallying 8 points and 6 rebounds. Sophomore Tierra Coleman finished with 6 points and 9 rebounds, demonstrating her consistent play all season long.
The game saw a great deal of effort from the entire team, though shots weren't falling, with the Eagles shooting just 31.5% from the field and 0% from beyond the arc. The team made 15 of 28 free throws, showing improvement in capitalizing on free opportunities.
The loss concluded a season full of growth and determination for the TSC Eagles. As the team bids farewell to their sophomores, the program is excited to see them move on to the next chapter in their basketball careers.
